We are building a community of saints with a heart for our city through the simple truth of Jesus.We are not a place.
We are NOT a place. We are a people. We aspire to be a church of action (not words), revival, prayer (not promises), and life giving (not growth stunting). We hope to be the hands of Jesus to our communities. We are authentic, real, unashamed of where we are now (as individuals), but hopeful for where we are going (growth). We welcome you and make you feel like family.
We want to reach into the greater St. Louis area, raising up leaders to carry our vision to the lost.
We are eager to see the church become a catalyst for people finding their purpose, freedom from their sin, and total life transformation in Christ.
Why are we Different?
The St. Louis homeless community is a reminder that the physical needs and brokenness of people existing within homelessness is a window to the individual spiritual eternal mortality of the soul. We can see their spiritual brokenness because of their physical circumstances, but despite their physical circumstances being extremely different than most of our community, their spiritual needs are the same. It is like their physical needs are a representation of everyone’s spiritual needs. It is so easy for typical people to hide our spiritual disparity with clothes and filters and social media and families and houses and PTO and careers. The truth is when that is stripped away, we are all spiritually bankrupt. The homeless community is a window to the true state of all of our brokenness.
Our hope is that people are transformed totally. We hope people don’t just believe in who Jesus was, but they live for who He is.
